The lower wind deflectors are designed to fit the standard Yamaha windshield mounts on the Road Star and Royal Star  .The Liner lowers do NOT use the windshield mounts and will fit with most windshields available.

All components are made from the highest quality materials available.  

Buck’s lowers provide excellent wind protection for both rider and passenger, and  prevent head “Buffeting” and blurring of vision from that wind.

Both rider and passenger are protected from wind blast,  making longer rides  much more comfortable.

All hardware is included. The clear Road Star deflectors are made from ¼" Lexan or Hyzod plastic, the same as your windshield. This Polycarbonate is “AR” abrasion resistant (scratch proof) Lexan and is resistant to stone damage. The Liner panels are AR2  3/16" Polycarbonate. 

The Road Star mounts are heavy gauge 18-8stainless steel, heavily chrome plated.     Mounting hardware is polished stainless steel . I use stainless because, unlike  chromed steel nuts and bolts, stainless does not rust after a year’s use. The Liner bracket is 12 gauge steel, heavily chrome plated. 

Installation takes ten minutes. They can be removed in a minute or two.

The current Road Star version of my lowers will fit both the smaller road bars , as well as the Larger Big Bars, such as those marketed by Yamaha, Cobra and Waynesville, as well as others. 

Some brands of Road Lights relocate the turn signals much lower, causing clearance problems. This situation can usually be overcome by using a few washers to shim the Road Light mounting bracket forward a bit. Instructions for this are included. This is an extremely unusual condition and is rarely found. 

Be aware that Road Star  lowers , when used with the BIG ROAD BARS MAYCONTACT your road bars at full lock – but just barely. This does not affect full lock steering. If this contact is unacceptable, do not order these lowers!
