New Liner Lowers
 


Offered is a chromed version for the ‘Liners.
 

 

The Liner has a heavily chrome plated bracket, along with 3/16” Polycarbonate

AR2 (abrasion resistant two sides) panels.
 

 

Mounts using the two bolts under the headlamp , and will accommodate

both the Yamaha Road Lights and the Yamaha engine guards (road bars).

NOTE: If using Cobra Road Bars, please order the “Special” Cobra panels .

Installation takes about 10 minutes.
 

These lowers are made for attachment to the Yamaha windshield system !

They WILL NOT fit other shield mounts.

 

The new brackets attach to the existing Yamaha shield mounts using new

Stainless steel , button head bolts for each side, provided with the lowers.

 

All that is needed to install the lowers is a 5MM Allen wrench.
It typically takes about 10 minutes .

 

The lowers come pre-assembled  to speed up installation. All hardware is provided.

 

The new brackets are made from 14 gauge  18-8 polished Stainless steel, but because

Stainless steel scratches fairly easily, they are heavily chrome plated !  The best of both

worlds ! 

 

The Lexan panels (clear only) are made from ¼” Polycarbonate AR2  (Abrasion Resistant – Two Sided). 
Some manufactures advertise that any scratches can be buffed out from their products !
This simply means that they are not using AR2 material and it will scratch easily! 
AR2 costs over twice as much as “Standard” polycarbonate but,
it’s well worth the addition expense!

 

The clear polycarbonate deflector panels are shock mounted using stainless steel ,
neoprene backed washers. This absorbs most vibration and shock delivered to the panels,
which can transmitted to the handlebars and windshield system, causing fatigue.

 

All mounting hardware (nuts, bolts and washers) is hand buffed stainless steel.
No corrosion or rusting !
Every effort has been made to produce Lower Wind  Deflectors that
are of the highest quality and that will last .

I also offer a stone guard/protector which is a 12 gauge, slotted and formed

steel plate that covers the vulnerable oil filter and oil lines on the Liner series.

IIt contains an extremely strong magnet on it’s edge to possibly help
trip those stubborn stop lights.
